Stadtprozelten is a municipality in the district of Miltenberg, which is in state Bavaria, located in Germany. It is located on the right bank of the Main, 8 kilometers northwest of Wertheim am Main. Stadtprozle as it is known to its inhabitants is 751 years old. A conventional, mainly Catholic village, it is bordered by Faulbach on the east, Dorfprozelten on the west and just over the kleine Steig on the southwest side is Neunbuch. Together with Neunbuch the city has roughly 800 inhabitants. The castle, Henneberg, pristinely preserved watches over this lovely town.
 
The Free State of Bavaria, with an area of 70,553 square kilometers and 12.4 million inhabitants, forms the southernmost state of today's Germany. Its capital is Munich. Bavaria shares international borders with Austria and the Czech Republic as well as with Switzerland. The major cities in Bavaria are Munich, Nuremberg, Augsburg, Regensburg, Wurzburg, Ingolstadt, Furth and Erlangen.
