Munzenberg is located 13 kilometers north of Friedberg, a town near Frankfurt am Main, about 30 kilometers north of Frankfurt and 16 kilometers southeast of Giessen, a city in the German federal state or Bundesland of Hesse, capital of both the Giessen district and the Giessen Administrative Region.

Tourism in Germany has expanded since the end of World War II, and many tourists visit Germany to experience a sense of European history. The countryside exhibits a pastoral aura, while its cities exhibit both a modern and classical feel.
