Germany is one of the largest European economy and the third largest economy in the world in real terms, placed behind the United States and Japan, and fifth behind the United States, China, India and Japan counted by purchasing power parity.
 
Schonewalde is a town in the Elbe-Elster district, in southwestern Brandenburg, Germany. It is situated 30 kilometers south of Luckenwalde, and 40 kilometers east of Wittenberg. Brandenburg is one of Germany's sixteen Bundeslander. It lies in the east of the country as it is one of the new states created in 1990 upon the reunification of the former West Germany and East Germany. The capital is Potsdam. Brandenburg surrounds but excludes the national capital Berlin. It is bordered by Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in the north, Poland in the east, the Free State of Saxony in the south, Saxony-Anhalt in the west, and Lower Saxony in the northwest.
 
Tourism in Germany has expanded since the end of World War II, and many tourists visit Germany to experience a sense of European history. The countryside exhibits a pastoral aura, while its cities exhibit both a modern and classical feel.
