Munstermaifeld is a town in the district Mayen-Koblenz, a district or Kreis in the north of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. Mayen-Koblenz’s neighboring districts are, from north clockwise, Ahrweiler, Neuwied, Westerwaldkreis, district-free Koblenz, Rhein-Lahn, Rhein-Hunsruck, Cochem-Zell and Daun. Munstermaifeld is part of the Verbandsgemeinde or collective municipality of Maifeld. It is situated south-east of Mayen, a town 16 miles west from Koblenz, Germany, and a few km from the Moselle River, a river flowing through France, Luxembourg and Germany, joining the Rhine river at Koblenz.
 
Tourism in Germany has expanded since the end of World War II, and many tourists visit Germany to experience a sense of European history. The countryside exhibits a pastoral aura, while its cities exhibit both a modern and classical feel.
