Rheinberg is a town and a municipality in the district of Wesel, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is situated on the left bank of the Rhine, roughly 10 kilometers north of Moers, and 15 kilometers south of Wesel. The city had population of 32,821 in 2005 and total area is of 75.15 square kilometers.
 
North Rhine-Westphalia has over 18 million inhabitants, contributes about 22 percent of Germany's gross domestic product and comprises a land area of 34,083 square kilometers. North Rhine-Westphalia is situated in the Western part of Germany and shares borders with Belgium and the Netherlands.
