Germany is located in Central Europe and it shares borders with Denmark in the North, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and France in the West, Austria and Switzerland in the South and Poland and the Czech Republic in the East. Germany is divided into 16 states which are further subdivided into 439 districts and cities. Germany is one of the largest European economy and the third largest economy in the world in real terms, placed behind the United States and Japan, and fifth behind the United States, China, India and Japan counted by purchasing power parity.
Reichenbach is the largest city in the Vogtlandkreis district, Saxony, Germany. The population of the city was 22,117 in the year 2005 with an area of 29.73 square kilometers and it’s population density was 744 per square kilometers. The elevation of the city was 380 meters. The place was founded in 1212 as Oberreichenbach. It had a castle which was built in 1240, it received municipal law in 1271. In the 17th century, it was the center or the clothes making. Neuberinmuseum, that is local historical and theatrical museum, and music hall are the interesting sites of the city Reichenbach.
Reichenbach Vogtland also has a telecommunication tower of Deutsche Telekom, including a broadcasting station broadcasting the Vogtlandradio. It is not related with the one in Reichenbach which is at 1,188 kilohertz. In 2002, it has a high school, three middle schools and three primary schools. August Horch a German engineer and automobile pioneer and Georg Lenck a German musician, were born in the city of Reichenbach. Due its various places of interest is one of the most visited places. It is also said the place of best geographical environment and can trace its origins back to prehistoric times.
