Germany is one of the largest European economy and the third largest economy in the world in real terms, placed behind the United States and Japan, and fifth behind the United States, China, India and Japan counted by purchasing power parity.
 
Mosbach is a capital of the Neckar-Odenwald district in the north of Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany, about 58 kilometers east of Heidelberg. It has a population of about 25,000 inhabitants in 6 areas namely, Mosbach, Lohrbach, Neckarelz, Diedesheim, Sattelbach, and Reichenbuch. It has an area of 62.23 squared kilometers with a population density of 405 people per square kilometer at an elevation of 156 meters above sea level. Geographically, Mosbach is situated south of the Odenwald Mountains at a height of 134 to 354 meters at the confluence of the Neckar and the Elz.
 
The settlement of Mosbach developed around the Benedictine monastery of Mosbach Abbey. The first written record of it dates back in the 9th century. In 1241, rights and privileges were given to Mosbach as an Imperial free city. These rights were lost in 1362 when Mosbach became part of the Electoral Palatinate. In the 15th century, Mosbach became home to the Electors Palatine, Otto I and Otto II.
 
Mosbach is also considered as the place of best geographical environment and can trace its origins back to prehistoric times. It, justifiably so, enjoys a very positive reputation with worldwide travelers, and is one of the most visited place.
