Killburg is a town and a municipality in the district Bitburg-Prüm, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is situated in the Eifel, on the river Kill, approximately 10 kilometers north-east of Bitburg. Killburg is also the seat of the Verbandsgemeinde Killburg, which consists of the Ortsgemeinden are Badem, Balesfeld, Burbach, Etteldorf, Gindorf, Gransdorf, Killburg, Killburgweiler, Malberg, Malbergweich and Neidenbach. Rhineland-Palatinate is one of 16 Bundeslander of Germany. It has an area of 19,846 square kilometers and about four million inhabitants.
