Kronberg im Taunus is a town in the Hochtaunuskreis district, Hesse, Germany. Before the 20th century, it was a Prussian city in the governmental district of Wiesbaden in the old district of Obertaunuskreis in the Taunus and the Kronberg-Rodelnheim railway. The area also has a spring. Kronberg borders in the north and east on the town of Oberursel, in the southeast on the town of Steinbach, in the south on the towns of Eschborn and Schwalbach, and in the west on the town of Konigstein.
 
The biggest street festival in the old town is the Thaler Kerb. Since 1967, when the Thaler Kerbe club was founded, it has been and is still celebrated. Other festivals Dallesfest in Oberhochstadt are Brunnenfest in Schonberg Oberhochstadter Kerb Kurbis-Festival at Kronberg Castle Linsenhoff UNICEF, United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund foundation Schafhof festival.
