Krakow am See is a town in the district of Güstrow, in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Germany. It is situated 18 kilometers southeast of Gustrow. Its population till date is 3,626. Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is a state in northern Germany. It has an area of 23,170 square kilometers, but has only 1.7 million inhabitants, making it the most sparsely populated German state. The largest cities are Rostock, Schwerin, Neubrandenburg, Stralsund, Wismar and Greifswald. All have a population of less than 200,000. Krakow am See adds to the beauty of Germany and this fact has consolidated along with abroad tourists visiting the place, making it the most favorite holiday destination for most of the vacation lovers.
