Kemberg is a small town in Wittenberg district in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, and the seat of the administrative community. It has the constituent communities of Bergwitz, Klitzschena and Ateritz. Geographically this location lies on the north edge of the Dubener Heide Nature Park. Its population was 4,784 on 30th June 2005, area is 59.18 square kilometers, population density is 81 per square kilometers and is elevated at 76 meters.
 
The town’s most outstanding sight is the soaring Church of Our Lady which can be seen far away over the Elbaue. There is also a sacrament house made of sandstone and a carved altar both from the 15th century and a very pleasant baptismal font. Also worth seeing are the late Gothic town hall with its renaissance additions and the old town wall from the 14th century, parts of which are still well conserved.
Kemberg is definitely one of the popular tourist attractions in Germany. It is worth paying a visit while touring the country. This place leaves a pleasing and unforgettable memory and justifies the proud cultural tradition of Germany.
