Lauda-Konigshofen is one of the preeminent, historical and potential tourism destinations in Germany. It is a town in the Main-Tauber district of Baden-Wurttemberg state and is situated on the banks of the Tauber River. Famous for its wine production, Lauda-Koenigshofen possesses an advantage of being the central and traffic-favorable location at the romantic road in the heart of the lovely deaf valley in 189 to 320 meters height.
 
Lauda-Konigshofen boasts a very rich history that dates back to the 1344 century when it received its first municipal rights. Later in 1492, it was awarded the market privilege by the Emperor Friedrich III. In 1525, an important battle of the farmer war took place on the tower mountain at Koenigshofen.
