Iphofen is a town in the district of Kitzingen, in Bavaria, Germany. It is situated 9 kilometers southeast of Kitzingen. The Free State of Bavaria, with an area of 70,553 square kilometers or 27,241 square miles and 12.4 million inhabitants, forms the southernmost state of today's Germany. Its capital is Munich.

The major cities in Bavaria are Munich, Nuremberg, Augsburg, Regensburg, Wurzburg, Ingolstadt, Furth and Erlangen.
