Hennigsdorf (Brandenburg)

Germany is located in Central Europe and it shares borders with Denmark in the North, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and France in the West, Austria and Switzerland in the South and Poland and the Czech Republic in the East. The North Sea and the Baltic Sea represent additional National Borders in the North. The official language of Germany is German and Berlin is the capital.

The climate is quite pleasant with almost all variety of seasonal flavors as temperate, marine, cool, cloudy, wet winters and summers, occasional warm, tropical foehn wind and high relative humidity. Germany is divided into 16 states which are further subdivided into 439 districts and cities. Germany is one of the largest European economy and the third largest economy in the world in real terms, placed behind the United States and Japan, and fifth behind the United States, China, India and Japan counted by purchasing power parity.

Hennigsdorf is a town north west of Berlin, Germany. It is part of the Oberhavel county, in Brandenburg. The city has a flag and a banner, adopted in 1993. Both show blue-white-green stripes with the arms. The lower part of the arms symbolizes the steel industry of the town. In late medieval and early modern times, Brandenburg was one of seven Electorships of the Holy Roman Empire, and, along with Prussia, formed the original core of the German Empire, the first unified German state. It contained the future German capital Berlin and since 1618 Brandenburg and Prussia, then Brandenburg-Prussia, were ruled by Hohenzollern dukes and later kings of Prussia. Brandenburg is bordered by Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in the north, Poland in the east, the Free State of Saxony in the south, Saxony-Anhalt in the west, and Lower Saxony in the northwest.

Hennigsdorf experiences a sharp social, economic and population growth derivative of the strategic position of the locality and the high level of well-being and quality of life that is enjoyed with respect to other places of Germany.
