Diepholz is a town in Lower Saxony, Germany, capital of the district of Diepholz. It is situated on the river Hunte, approximately 45 kilometers northeast of Osnabruck, and 60 kilometers southwest of Bremen. Lower Saxony borders on the north sea, the states of Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Brandenburg, Saxony-Anhalt, Thuringia, Hesse and North Rhine-Westphalia, and the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
Diepholz, due its various places of interest is one of the most visited places. It is also said the place of best geographical environment and can trace its origins back to prehistoric times.
