Crivitz is a town in the district of Parchim, in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Germany. It is situated 18 kilometers east of Schwerin. Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is a state in northern Germany. It has an area of 23,170 square kilometers, but has only 1.7 million inhabitants, making it the most sparsely populated German state. The Baltic Sea's beaches and islands, as well as the many lakes in the interior, attract many tourists every year. There are two universities and a number of universities of applied sciences in the town.

Crivitz, justifiably so, enjoys a very positive reputation with worldwide travelers, and is one of the most visited place. It is also said the place of best geographical environment and can trace its origins back to prehistoric times.
