Annweiler am Trifels or Annweiler is city in the Sudliche Weinstrabe district, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. The city Annweiler is located on the river Queich, 12 kilometers west of Landau and on the railway from Landau to Pirmasens. Annweiler is passionately situated in the eastern part of the Pfalzer Wald called the Pfalzer Schweiz  which is also called Palatinate Switzerland and is surrounded by high hills which yield a prominent red sandstone.
 
Annweiler am Trifels, which consists of the Ortsgemeinden which mean local municipalities. Annweiler am Trifel’s main industry is tourism. Tourism in Germany has expanded since the end of World War II, and many tourists visit Germany to experience a sense of European history. The countryside exhibits a pastoral aura, while its cities exhibit both a modern and classical feel.
