Lehrte

Germany is located in Central Europe and it shares borders with Denmark in the North, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and France in the West, Austria and Switzerland in the South and Poland and the Czech Republic in the East. Lehrte is a town in the district of Hanover, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated approximately at about 17 kilometers to the east of Hanover. The population of the city in 2005 was 44,149. The area of the city is 127 square kilometers with a population density of 347 per square kilometer. The city of Lehrte is elevated at about 62 meters from above the sea-level.

Lehrte prides itself on its important role in social and cultural development in the history of Hanover district as well as on the opportunity provided to its citizens to live, work and grow in a clean and prosperous environment. The city of Lehrte has placed itself at the top of a list of municipalities in the Metropolitan Region with the highest quality of life.
