Nurtingen is a municipality in Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany, in the district of Esslingen. In 2003, the population of the city was 40,111 and is located on the river Neckar, 291meters above sea level. Baden-Wurttemberg is a state of the Federal Republic of Germany in the southwestern part of the country to the east of the Upper Rhine. It is third biggest in both area and population among the country's sixteen states, with an area of 35,742 square kilometers and 10.7 million inhabitants.
 
Tourism in Germany has expanded since the end of World War II, and many tourists visit Germany to experience a sense of European history. The countryside exhibits a pastoral aura, while its cities exhibit both a modern and classical feel.
