Germany is located in Central Europe and it shares borders with Denmark in the North, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and France in the West, Austria and Switzerland in the South and Poland and the Czech Republic in the East. The North Sea and the Baltic Sea represent additional National Borders in the North. The official language of Germany is German and Berlin is the capital. The climate is quite pleasant with almost all variety of seasonal flavors as temperate, marine, cool, cloudy, wet winters and summers, occasional warm, tropical foehn wind and high relative humidity.
 
Germany is divided into 16 states which are further subdivided into 439 districts and cities. Germany is one of the largest European economy and the third largest economy in the world in real terms, placed behind the United States and Japan, and fifth behind the United States, China, India and Japan counted by purchasing power parity.
 
Nuremberg is a municipality in the German state of Bavaria, in the administrative region of Middle Franconia. It is situated on the Pegnitz River and the Main-Danube Canal. It is located about 105 miles north of Munich. In 2006, the population of the city was 500,132. Nuremberg for many people is still associated with its conventional gingerbread products, sausages and handmade toys. The first pocket watches, the Nurnberg eggs, were made there in the 16th century.
 
In the 19th century, however Nuremberg became the industrial heart of Bavaria. Nuremberg was an early center of humanism, science, printing and mechanical invention.The city contributed much to the science of astronomy. Other well-known citizens of the city include Albrecht Durer, Adam Kraft, Hans Behaim the Elder, Hartmann Schedel, Anton Koberger, Conrad Paumann, Johann Philipp von Wurzelbauer, Hans Sachs, Ludwig Andreas Feuerbach and Max Morlock. The churches located in the city are St. Sebald, St. Lorenz, Frauenkirche, St. Klara, St. Martha, St. Jakob, St. Egidien, and St. Elisabeth. Nuremberg is an attractive city with natural beauty and historical places, while traveling in Germany.
