Bietigheim-Bissingen is the second biggest town in the district of Ludwigsburg, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany with a population of 42,145 inhabitants as on 2005. It is situated on the river Enz, near its confluence with the Neckar, about 22 kilometers north of Stuttgart, and 20 kilometers south of Heilbronn. Bietigheim-Bissingen is an important link for the railroad connecting Stuttgart with Heilbronn, Karlsruhe and Heidelberg. Additionally the S-Bahn line 5 has got its origin.
 
Bietigheim-Bissingen is also known as the town of best geographical environment and has traced its origins back to prehistoric times. Today, one can also learn about its history, from its earliest times and can also enjoy its natural beauty concealed by the beautiful landscapes.
