Polch is a town in the district Mayen Koblenz, in Rhineland Palatinate, Germany. It is part of the Verbandsgemeinde, which mean collective municipality, Maifeld. It is situated east of Mayen. Rhineland Palatinate is one of 16 Bundeslander of Germany. It has an area of 19,846 square kilometers and about four million inhabitants. The capital is Mainz.
 
Mayen Koblenz is a district in the north of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. Neighboring districts are Ahrweiler, Neuwied, Westerwaldkreis, district free Koblenz, Rhein Lahn, Rhein Hunsruck, Cochem Zell, Daun. The district was created in 1973 when the two district Mayen and Koblenz were merged. The two main rivers of the district are the Rhine and the Moselle, who join at the Deutsches Eck in Koblenz.
