Parsberg is a town in the district of Neumarkt, a district in Bavaria, the southernmost state of today's Germany. Neumarkt is bounded by, from the north and clockwise, the districts of Nurnberger Land, Amberg-Sulzbach, Schwandorf, Regensburg, Kelheim, Eichstatt and Roth. Parsberg is situated 23 kilometers southeast of Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz, the capital of the Neumarkt district and 33 kilometers northwest of Regensburg, a city in Bavaria, south-east Germany, located at the confluence of the Danube and Regen rivers, at the northernmost bend of the Danube.
