Oderberg (Brandenburg)

Germany is located in Central Europe and it shares borders with Denmark in the North, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and France in the West, Austria and Switzerland in the South and Poland and the Czech Republic in the East. The North Sea and the Baltic Sea represent additional National Borders in the North. The official language of Germany is German and Berlin is the capital. The climate is quite pleasant with almost all variety of seasonal flavors as temperate, marine, cool, cloudy, wet winters and summers, occasional warm, tropical foehn wind and high relative humidity.

Germany is divided into 16 states which are further subdivided into 439 districts and cities. Germany is one of the largest European economy and the third largest economy in the world in real terms, placed behind the United States and Japan, and fifth behind the United States, China, India and Japan counted by purchasing power parity.

Oderberg is a town in the district of Barnim, in Brandenburg, Germany. It is situated 16 kilometers from east of Eberswalde and 27 kilometers from southwest of Schwedt. Brandenburg is one of Germany's sixteen federal states. It lies in the east of the country, as it is one of the new states created in 1990 upon the reunification of the former West Germany and East Germany. The capital of the town is Potsdam. Brandenburg surrounds but excludes the national capital Berlin.

Barnim is a district in Brandenburg, Germany. It is bounded by Poland, the district of Markisch Oderland, the city-state of Berlin and the districts of Oberhavel and Uckermark. The name Barnim emerged in the 13th century and was applied to a large forest region east of the Havel and north of the Spree, where noblemen used to hunt. The present district is roughly identical with, but somewhat smaller than this historical region. The district was established in 1993 by merging the former districts of Bernau and Eberswalde.

Oderberg, justifiably so, enjoys a very positive reputation with worldwide travelers, and is one of the most visited place. It is also said the place of best geographical environment and can trace its origins back to prehistoric times.
