Niederstetten is a town and a municipality in the Main-Tauber district, in Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany. It is situated 14 kilometers southeast of Bad Mergentheim, and 19 kilometers west of Rothenburg der Tauber. Its total area is of 104.06 square kilometers and population recorded in 2004 was 5,528 inhabitants while population density is 53 per square kilometers. The main tourist attraction sights are Castle Haltenbergstetten and Germany's biggest pig market.
