Germany is one of the largest European economy and the third largest economy in the world in real terms, placed behind the United States and Japan, and fifth behind the United States, China, India and Japan counted by purchasing power parity.

Sandau is a town in the district of Stendal, in Sachsen-Anhalt, Germany. It is situated on the right bank of the Elbe, approximately 5 kilometers south of Havelberg. It is part of the collective municipality Elbe-Havel-Land. Stendal is a district  in the northeast of Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Its neighboring districts are  Jerichower Land, Ohrekreis, Altmarkkreis Salzwedel, the district Luchow-Dannenberg in Lower Saxony, and the districts Prignitz, Ostprignitz-Ruppin and Havelland in Brandenburg.

Saxony-Anhalt is one of the sixteen federal states that make up the federal republic of Germany. It has an area of 20,447 square kilometers, and a population of 2.6 million. Its capital is Magdeburg. Lying to the northeast of central Germany, it is eighth largest in area and since 1996 tenth in population among the country's sixteen federal states. It borders on the states of Lower Saxony to the northwest, Brandenburg to the east, The free state of Saxony to the southeast and Thuringia to the southwest.

Sandau, due to its many historic events and places it has been one of the favorite destinations of visitors. Due its various places of interest it is one of the most visited places. It is also said the place of best geographical environment and can trace its origins back to prehistoric times.
