Rheinstetten is a German municipality in the district of Karlsruhe in Baden-Wurttemberg. The town is situated 7 kilometers southwest of Karlsruhe and several people of Karlsruhe are living in this Vorort. The city had a population of 20,382 in 2005 and total area is of 32.31 square kilometers. The town is located in the Upper Rhine valley. The famous Black Forest is ten kilometres to the east. On the west border of the town flows the Rhine River. The town is divided into three town districts Forchheim, Morsch and Neuburgweier in the west.
