Rennerod is a city and a municipality in the Westerwaldkreis district, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is located in the Westerwald, approximately 10 kilometers southeast of Bad Marienberg and 30 kilometers south of Siegen. Rhineland-Palatinate is one of 16 federal states of Germany. It has an area of 19,846 square kilometers and about four million inhabitants. The capital is Mainz.

Rennerod is a city in the Westerwaldkreis in Rhineland-Palatinate. The wood brook flows by the place. The city is administrative seat of the convention community Rennerod. Up to the reunification of Germany on 3 October 1990, Rennerod was the geographical center of the Federal Republic of Germany. The city was mentioned for the first time documentary in the year 1217. Rennerod is an attractive city with natural beauty and historical places, while traveling in Germany.
