Mulheim-Karlich is a town in the district of Mayen-Koblenz, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is part of the Verbandsgemeinde Weibenthurm and is situated west of Koblenz, a few kilometers from Rhine. Rhineland-Palatinate is one of 16 Bundeslander of Germany. It has an area of 19.846 squared kilometers and a population of about four million inhabitants with its capital being Mainz. Rhineland-Palatinate borders on North Rhine-Westphalia, Hesse, Baden-Wurttemberg, France, Saarland, Luxembourg and Belgium.
 
Like some of its sister municipalities and towns, Mulheim-Karlich is blessed with beautiful surroundings and a unique natural setting. The picturesque scenery, the majesty of the mountains, the slow pace of life, and the welcoming nature of its people all combine to make this region one of the most important tourist attractions in Germany.
