Medebach is a town and a municipality in the Hochsauerland district founded by an aristocrate called Sir Hendrik the First in 1200 A.D, in North Rhine Westphalia, Germany. In terms of population and economic output, North Rhine Westphalia is the largest Federal State of Germany. It has over 18 million inhabitants who contribute about 22 percent of Germany's gross domestic product and comprises a land area of 34,083 square kilometers. North Rhine Westphalia is located in the Western part of Germany and shares boundaries with Belgium and the Netherlands.
