Wassertrudingen is a town in the district of Ansbach, Middle Franconia, Bavaria, Germany. Its population was recorded at 6,247 inhabitants as on 2003 in an area of 53.58 squared kilometers. Its population density is 117 people per square kilometer. Bavaria shares international borders with Austria and the Czech Republic along with Switzerland. Its neighboring states within Germany are Baden-Wurttemberg, Hesse, Thuringia and Saxony. Its two major rivers are Danube and the Main Rivers. The Bavarian Alps define the border with Austria, and within the range is the highest peak in Germany, Zugspitze. Its major cities are Munich, Nuremberg, Augsburg, Regensburg, Würzburg, Ingolstadt, Furth and Erlangen.
