Wanzleben is a town in the Bordekreis, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It is situated approximately 15 kilometers southwest of Magdeburg. Saxony-Anhalt is one of the sixteen federal states that make up the Federal Republic of Germany. It has an area of 20,447 square kilometers, and a population of 2.6 million. Its capital is Magdeburg. The state's name is sometimes spelled Saxony Anhalt in English.
Tourism in Germany has expanded since the end of World War II, and many tourists visit Germany to experience a sense of European history. The countryside exhibits a pastoral aura, while its cities exhibit both a modern and classical feel.
