Lorch (Hesse)

Germany is one of the largest European economy and the third largest economy in the world in real terms, placed behind the United States and Japan, and fifth behind the United States, China, India and Japan counted by purchasing power parity.
Lorch is a town in Rheingau-Taunus-Kreis. Rheingau-Taunus is a district in the west of Hesse, located in Germany. It is situated at the mouth of the Wisper and belongs to the Middle Rhine region. It is famous for its wine production. Culturally and politically, the people of Lorch feel that they are part of the Hessian Rheingau, as the township of Lorchhausen is the most northern community of the federal land of Rhineland-Palatinate.
In the Middle Ages, Lorch served as the northern cornerstone of Mainz facing towards the Rheingau. Its position at the border was quite unique in the years after the First World War, when Lorch was the capital of the Bottleneck Free State.
Lorch is definitely one of the popular tourist attractions in Germany. It is worth paying a visit while touring the country. This place leaves a pleasing and unforgettable memory and justifies the proud cultural tradition of Germany.
