Kroppenstedt is a town in the Bordekreis district, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It is situated southwest of Magdeburg. It is part of the Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Westliche Borde. Saxony-Anhalt is one of the sixteen Bundeslander that make up the Federal Republic of Germany. It has an area of 20,447 square kilometers, and a population of 2.6 million.
