Krempe is a town in the district of Steinburg, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. It is situated between Itzehoe and Gluckstadt. Krempe is part of the Amt collective municipality. Schleswig-Holstein is the northernmost of the 16 Bundeslander which means federal states in Germany. The former English name of the town was Sleswick-Holsatia, the Danish name is Slesvig-Holsten, the Low German name is Sleswig-Holsteen, and the North Frisian name is Slaswik-Holstiinj. Historically, the name refers to a larger region, containing present-day Schleswig-Holstein and the South Jutland County in Denmark.

Krempe, justifiably so, enjoys a very positive reputation with worldwide travelers, and is one of the most visited place. It is also said the place of best geographical environment and can trace its origins back to prehistoric times.
