Loffingen is a municipality in the district of Breisgau Hochschwarzwald, in Baden Wurttemberg, Germany. It is located 14 kilometers from southwest of Donaueschingen and 40 kilometers from southeast of Freiburg. Baden-Wurttemberg is a state of the Federal Republic of Germany in the southwestern part of the country to the east of the Upper Rhine. It is third biggest in area and population amongst the country's sixteen states, with an area of 35,742 square kilometers and 10.7 million inhabitants. The state capital is Stuttgart.

Tourism in Germany has expanded since the end of World War II, and many tourists visit Germany to experience a sense of European history. The countryside exhibits a pastoral aura, while its cities exhibit both a modern and classical feel.
