Erding is a town in Bavaria, Germany and capital of the district Erding. It has a population of 34,122 inhabitants in 2004. It is twinned with Bastia in Corsica. The original Erdinger Weissbier is a well known Bavarian specialty. Grunbacher is one of the better-known local brands. Because of the nearby Munich Airport which employs people from several countries, Erding has quite an international feel, in spite of its comparatively small size. Erding is a Bavarian farming town with an Airport.
 
The population of the city Erding was 33,000 in the year 2005 with the area of 54.64 square kilometers and population density was 596 per square kilometers. Erding is positioned around 45 kilometers northeast of central Munich, about a 40 minute drive by car. Regular S-Bahn trains join to Munich and it is reachable by bike lanes although it is a bit much for a usual commute except for enthusiasts.
 
Erding has a combination of restaurants in varying price classes. You will find first-rate Bavarian, Chinese, Vietnamese, Italian, Turkish and other international styles obtainable. During summer, street tables are placed outside several establishments.
