Ditzingen is a town in the district of Ludwigsburg, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany. It is positioned about 10 kilometers northwest of Stuttgart, and 12 kilometers southwest of Ludwigsburg. At Ditzingen-Hirschlanden, there is a Hirschlanden transmitter. Baden-Wurttemberg is a state of the central Republic of Germany in the southwestern part of the country to the east of the Upper Rhine. It is third biggest in both area and population amongst the country's sixteen states with an area of 35,742 square kilometers and 10.7 million inhabitants. Its state capital is Stuttgart.
