Bismark is a town in the district of Stendal, district or Kreis in the north-east of Saxony-Anhalt which lies to the northeast of central Germany, it is eighth largest in area and tenth in population among the country's sixteen Bundeslander or federal states. Bismark is situated approximately 22 kilometers west of Stendal. Bismark is part of the Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Bismark Kladen.
