Bad Waldsee is a town in Upper Swabia in Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany. It is part of the district of Ravensburg, in the western, Württembergish part of the Allgau region. It is situated 20 kilometers south of Biberach an der Rib, and 20 kilometers northeast of Ravensburg. Baden-Wurttemberg is a state of the Federal Republic of Germany in the southwestern part of the country to the east of the Upper Rhine. It is third largest in both area and population among the country's sixteen states, with an area of 35,742 square kilometers and 10.7 million inhabitants.
