Alzenau is a city in the district of Aschaffenburg, which is in state Bavaria, located in Germany. It is situated 14 kilometers northwest of Aschaffenburg. Convenient between the main level and the Auslaufern of the Spessarts, surrounded by dense forests and sun-delicate wine gardens, the Bavarian town Alzenau with its quarters Albstadt, Horstein, Kalberau, Michelbach and water lot presents itself self-confidently as meeting place in Bavarian Rhine Main. Alzenau is a modern town with centuries-old history. Around 950 the place Alzenau is called for the first time under the name Wilmundsheim in a king document.
