The climate is quite pleasant with almost all variety of seasonal flavors as temperate, marine, cool, cloudy, wet winters and summers, occasional warm, tropical foehn wind and high relative humidity.

Germany is divided into 16 states which are further subdivided into 439 districts and cities. Germany is one of the largest European economy and the third largest economy in the world in real terms, placed behind the United States and Japan, and fifth behind the United States, China, India and Japan counted by purchasing power parity.

Wesel is one of the most chosen tourist destinations in Germany because of the various interesting activities available in the region. The city is located at the point where the Lippe River empties into the Rhine. It is also the capital of the Wesel district in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. Wesel has a total land area of 122.53 square kilometers and population of 64,837 as of 2005 census.

Wesel originates from a Franconian manor that was first mentioned in the 8th century. In the 12th century, Wesel came into the possession of the Duke of Cleves. The city was given broad privileges and became a member of the Hanseatic League during the 15th century. It was an important commercial centre, a clearing station for the transhipment and trading of goods.

Today, Wesel experiences a sharp social, economic and population growth derivative of the strategic position of the locality and the high level of well-being and quality of life that is enjoyed with respect to other places of Germany. This fact has consolidated along with other adjacent municipalities, as a great alternative for residence.
