Pinneberg

Pinneberg is a town in Schleswig-Holstein, capital of the district Pinneberg in Germany. In 2005, Pinneberg recorded a population of 41,289 residents in an area of 21.54 square kilometers with a population density of 1,917 square kilometers. In Pinneberg, a castle developed around the year 1200, and this place has existed for many centuries. In 1472, a Renaissance castle was heavily damaged in the years 1627 and 1657 and 1720.
 
After Pinneberg came in the proximity of the castle to a settlement of officials of yard and craftsmen, the place developed quite slowly and kept only to 1875 municipal rights. Since 1640, the seat of the Danish Landdrosten was here and since 1866, the seat of the Prussian land advice came to the incorporation of Pinneberger village. In the year, 1927 there was incorporation of the municipalities of Thesdorf and Waldenau.
 
It can also be considered as the preeminent, historical and potential tourism destination that enjoys a very positive reputation with worldwide travelers to become one of the most visited places.
