Germany is located in Central Europe and it shares borders with Denmark in the North, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and France in the West, Austria and Switzerland in the South and Poland and the Czech Republic in the East. Germany is divided into 16 states which are further subdivided into 439 districts and cities. Germany is one of the largest European economy and the third largest economy in the world in real terms, placed behind the United States and Japan, and fifth behind the United States, China, India and Japan counted by purchasing power parity.
 
Iserlohn is a city in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is situated at the north end of the Sauerland close to Ruhr River at 51 degree north and 7 degree east. Its population as on 2005 was estimated at 97,478 residents in an area of 125.50 squared kilometers. It is the largest city in the Markischer Kreis County and of the whole Sauerland by area and population. Its Pancratius church was established in year 985, but the first written document mentioning lon dates from 1150. In 1237, the Count of the Mark gave Iserlohn municipal rights. In 1975, the city that was an urban district before, integrated the surrounding ex-municipalities of Letmathe, Hennen, Sümmern and Kesbern, and turned into a part of the district Markischer Kreis.
 
Iserlohn is also the name of a giant Death Star-like space fortress in the Japanese science fiction novel series, Legend of the Galactic Heroes, by Yoshiki Tanaka. It was adapted into Animation and Manga. It can also be considered as the preeminent, historical and potential tourism destination that enjoys a very positive reputation with worldwide travelers to become one of the most visited places.
