Grevenbroich also known as the Capital of Energy is a town and a municipality in the Rhein-Kreis Neuss, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is located on the river Erft, approximately 15 kilometers south-west of Neuss and 15 kilometers south-east of Monchengladbach. Population of the city was 65,008 as of 30th September 2005.
 
The city parts of Grevenbroich comprise Hemmerden mit Busch, Gruissem, Vierwinden, Neubruck, Kapellen mit Gilverath, Tuschenbroich, Neukirchen mit Gubisrath und Neukircher Heide, Stadt Hulchrath mit Muhlrath und Munchrath and Stadt Wevelinghoven mit Langwaden.
