Germany is located in Central Europe and it shares borders with Denmark in the North, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and France in the West, Austria and Switzerland in the South and Poland and the Czech Republic in the East. The North Sea and the Baltic Sea represent additional National Borders in the North. The official language of Germany is German and Berlin is the capital. The climate is quite pleasant with almost all variety of seasonal flavors as temperate, marine, cool, cloudy, wet winters and summers, occasional warm, tropical foehn wind and high relative humidity.
 
Eberswalde is a town in the German Federal State of Brandenburg, about 50 kilometers northeast of Berlin. It has a population of 42144 inhabitants as per the census of June 2005. Its geographical location is 52 degree north and 13 degree east. It is often called as Waldstadt as it has large forests around it, including the Biosphere Reserve Schorfheide-Chorin. Despite this fact, Eberswalde was an important industrial center till the German Reunification. The area around Eberswalde was populated in Paleolithic times. Before the establishment of Mark Brandenburg, it was the place of a Slavic stockade.
 
Eberswalde has access to the federal streets, B 2 and B 167 and the highways, BAB 11 and E 28. It is located on the railroad lines from Berlin to Szczecin, which reached Eberswalde from Berlin in 1842. It is the starting point of the railroad lines to Templin and Frankfurt. Eberswalde and its industrial parks can also be accessed through the waterways Oder Havel Canal and Finow Canal and it also has an airport.
 
Eberswalde has Carnivals, which when compared to other towns of the regions, has quite a huge society. It was brought to Eberswalde from Bavaria and from the Rhineland. Both are standing for different Carnival traditions and can be considered as the preeminent, historical and potential tourism destination that enjoys a positive reputation with worldwide travelers.
