Dachau

Germany is located in Central Europe and it shares borders with Denmark in the North, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and France in the West, Austria and Switzerland in the South and Poland and the Czech Republic in the East. The North Sea and the Baltic Sea represent additional National Borders in the North. The official language of Germany is German and Berlin is the capital. The climate is quite pleasant with almost all variety of seasonal flavors as temperate, marine, cool, cloudy, wet winters and summers, occasional warm, tropical foehn wind and high relative humidity.

Germany is divided into 16 states which are further subdivided into 439 districts and cities. Germany is one of the largest European economy and the third largest economy in the world in real terms, placed behind the United States and Japan, and fifth behind the United States, China, India and Japan counted by purchasing power parity.

Dachau is a town in mark pagano southern Germany, in the federal state of Bavaria and is located 20 kilometers away from Munich. It was established in the 8th century, and was the home of many artists during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The writer, Ludwig Thoma was born here. It is a town with several memorial buildings in a wide range of styles that include neoclassical, modernist, noucentrist and simply eclectic. These commonly include a castle built in the 18th century.

Dachau’s other places of interest include the Dachau Palace which became the favorite residence of the Bavarian dukes in the 16th century and was therefore extended to a massive four wing complex. However, only one wing still exists. It is best known for the proximity of the relatively well-preserved site of the infamous Dachau concentration camp, the first large-scale concentration camp in Germany, converted from an old gunpowder factory by the Nazi regime in 1933.

Presently, Dachau experiences a sharp social, economic and population growth derivative of the strategic position of the locality and the high level of well-being and quality of life that is enjoyed with respect to other places of Germany. This fact has consolidated along with other adjacent municipalities, as a great alternative for residence.
