Germany is located in Central Europe and it shares borders with Denmark in the North, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and France in the West, Austria and Switzerland in the South and Poland and the Czech Republic in the East. The North Sea and the Baltic Sea represent additional National Borders in the North. The official language of Germany is German and Berlin is the capital. The climate is quite pleasant with almost all variety of seasonal flavors as temperate, marine, cool, cloudy, wet winters and summers, occasional warm, tropical foehn wind and high relative humidity.
 
Germany is divided into 16 states which are further subdivided into 439 districts and cities. Germany is one of the largest European economy and the third largest economy in the world in real terms, placed behind the United States and Japan, and fifth behind the United States, China, India and Japan counted by purchasing power parity.
 
Baden-Baden is a town in Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany. It is situated on the western foothills of the Black Forest, on the banks of the Oos River, in the region of Karlsruhe. It had a population of 54,454 inhabitants as per the 2005 census. Its total land area is 140.18 square kilometers and its population density is 388 people per square kilometer. The city is elevated at 211 meters above the mean sea level. The springs of the town were known to the Romans, and the foundation of the town is referred to the emperor Hadrian by an inscription of somewhat doubtful authenticity.
 
Baden-Baden has well known sights like Kurhaus, the casino, Caracalla Spa, Lichtentaler Allee, Friedrichsbad and Old Castle Hohenbaden, which were built in 1102. A ruin since the 15th century, along with New Castle, former residence of the margraves of Baden and Festspielhaus Baden-Baden as well is present here.
 
A city known for its historic myths and traditions, scenic beauty, luxurious hotels and cottages, Baden-Baden is one of the favorite holiday destinations for most of the vacation lovers.
